This book was either a 9 or 10 in my opinion. It didn’t seem to have any problems that I didn’t approve of in it. I plan on reading more novels from this author. The story had some logic too it then at other times it didn’t seem practical in this generation.
Markus Zusak is the author of I am the Messenger. He has written a few other books, including The Book Thief. He was born in Sydney, Australia and currently still lives there. He has two kids. Even though has written multiple books he is mainly know for I am the Messenger and The Book Thief.
Audrey plays an important role in the book, because she is there for Ed the whole time. She was abused as a child and never really has let anyone into her life because of that. She is aware of that Ed loves her but she can’t love anyone in her mind. At the end of the story she is the last message. She didn’t question anything beyond Ed getting the names and address except for if he was okay with all of this.
“Maybe everyone can lived beyond what they’re capable of.”
This line in the book would have to be one of the most important parts, since it can pretty much sum up the theme of the whole story.
